3 mm difference will fit fine. If you start going into low 30's offset then there may be an issue. I assumed they were 16's or 17's. The tire width is more of a factor - 55 or higher could be an issue.

I will be getting some Bridgestone Blizzaks (probably going with the LM-60s) for the stock wheels.
I was going to get a set of winter wheels, but I decided to keep the stock wheels for my winter set, and get a new set of wheels in the spring. |

I had thought about going that route as well, but I just really hate wasting new tires. Not sure if there's a market for them though. If I put them on new aftermarket rims, I'm stuck with 17" rims. I do have a set of SSR Comps from my WRX, but they already have some nice Falken Azenis on them.

I've got a guy locally with WRX 16s for sale. I might pick them up.

I think I'm gonna be going with General Altimax Arctic on my stock wheels. They seem to have less wear than the Blizzak WS70s I was looking at. Little cheaper too and reviews still seem good.

^ Everyone gushes over Blizzaks, but its like putting a tux on for a Business meeting 90% of the time. You'll look good, but you only need the shirt and khakis. I have ContiWinterContact (one of Continental's base brands that do come in 215/45R17), and have zero complaints with them.

Surprised you're doing a sale in November, don't get me wrong - that's fantastic, but I always thought it was cheaper to get the winters during the off-season. |

I'll be putting my fully clear bra (Hood, bumper, lights, fenders, mirros, a-pillars, half roof, rear bumper top, rocker panels, and door cups) on my BRZ. Hell I might as well just cover the whole damn car in it lol. Gotta protect that paint from salt and whatnot. I'm also going to avoid driving when the road has salt on it after a storm. Good thing I have 2 weeks vacation time to burn for this.
I'll also be picking up a set of Rally Armor mud flaps to protect the sides and bottom of the car from debris being knocked up. Depending on how they look come spring, I may leave them on. As for tires and wheels, I haven't decided yet. I may get a set of 17in snow tires and get a different set of wheels come spring, or pick up a set of 16in steelies and 55 width snow tires. Opinions?
