Then you're saying against your statement of been "save fuel and don't look like an idiotic street racing ricer".
First of all, you're not saving fuel by using the paddle to begin with. I do agree that paddles are fun, but your point of having paddle on the column is better reason is rejected. Quote:

I wouldn't go that far, but if spinning the steering wheel make them confuse which is down shift or up shift, it's better to keep it auto or just by manual
