Give the kids a damn break. I don't suggest such stunts on public roads especially at nights .. But any FRS/BRZ owner has most likely done something similar to it or is probably gonna soon.. You just weren't ballsy or stupid enough to post the video unlike these guys

Acting stupid in your car is one thing but endangering passengers is just moronic and in this video it sounded like there might have been 3 passengers.
What's that old joke?
What are the famous last words of an idiot?
"Hey y'all, watch this!"

I dont see why everyone is so upset. He didnt go into the oncoming lane or come close to crashing at any point. Just some kids having fun up in the mountains as I grew up doing and Im sure most of you did. Anyone who thinks this is outrageous either drives like a grandma or isnt being honest because weve all had some fun on an empty backroad at some point.

I'm not bashing the OP(looked like fun for the DRIVER), but your statement is woefully ignorant and only holds true under ideal circumstances, specifically ones that don't involve anything out of the ordinary.

A turtle for example could have ruined everything. Do we even venture into animal territory? He didn't swerve into the other lane, great, there was also no one in the other lane. Drunk idiot, texting idiot, cellphone idiot, soccer mom idiot, name your idiot comes around any of those corners, maybe one headlight is out, maybe the dumbass is using DRL's at night.

The point is your statement as well as any scenario any of us have ever been in similar to this and come out perfectly fine almost certainly did NOT include any of the above or below.

nail in the road
2x4
animal
reptile
any debris
oil stain
on and on and on

The driver of the car in this video (and I use the term 'driver' loosely in this instance) was in over his head at those speeds on that road at NIGHT. As mentioned previously, he got lucky - any number of things could have caused a horrible crash and the main reason is: this guy cannot control his car.
If he wants to drive fast, take some lessons on how to and do it by yourself. That way, if you crash, you crash alone and don't take innocents with you.

By your same argument driving a car anywhere under any conditions could be dangerous. You never know when a turtle may leap out at you! Even driving the speed limit any of the scenarios you mentioned could cause an accident, that is the risk you run any time you drive a car. Obviously driving faster increases those risks but they are present 100% of the time.

Here's my 2 cents... isn't this count as "Street Racing" genre? or this count in different genre?

They may be 100% present, but a wreck resulting from an unexpected situation is not 100% probable. By increasing the danger of the situation, you increase the chance of a wreck if any of those situations were to occur. If anything had occurred, the probability of him being able to react in time to save himself and his passengers is drastically decreased; he is busy trying to control the car at an unsafe speed rather than actively anticipating oncoming traffic and planning an escape should anything occur.

ya
auto accidents kill more than 40,000 people in the U.S. each year; they are the No. 1 cause of death for people between the ages of 1 and 34.
Shity car control and speed is like asking to die.
