Should have read "he was outed..."

Haven't heard anything new from him on here since a few members were calling on his insider information and then posted links to where he was outed on the Subie forums.

I personally don't care who he is or what he does for a living... seemed to be reasonable information on most accounts. People were getting buttsore though that his information contradicted their own theories or what they heard elsewhere.

There it is! :happy0180:

I dunno but I think that would have been awesome!

Liquid was several car forums with the same s/n. I remember one IS forum where he mentioned that he used to work at a Toyota dealership in San Diego. I'm assuming it's it's Kearny Mesa Toyota

No don't think he's banned... hopefully he doesn't abandon these forums altogether. I'm not sure that anyone here can confirm/deny who he works for/what he does he is presently.

the first concept had them in the perfect place.

He was right about that though. It is up to the distributors to select certain specs and feautres of the vehicle... Like whether or not power windows are standard equipment, fog lights are standard equipment, 17" wheels are standard equipment, etc.

Gently stroke it to make the engine purr... and to shift, I suppose.

I suppose this means that a short shifter is out of the question.

I can't believe the paddle shifters are mounted to the wheel and not the column... My Z's paddles are soooo perfect, it's going to be hard getting used to these things. I used to joke about the EX Honda paddles and how they were awful, but these aren't looking any more promising. Maybe I should just tell my girlfriend she needs to learn how to drive a stick and make that the end of it...

That's always an option haha :happy0180:
Does anyone know if there will be changes made to these "test mules" going into production? Any major differences? And could we at least see different rims lol?

With the various test drivers Toyota and subaru has had with the car, Id think that a static paddle location might not be the best suited for the "drifter" mindset. Iv heard from people who track the 370z that during certain cornering situations they cant reach the paddles. With the 370z & GT-R the column shifter is better suited for a transmission and people who aren't in a high speed full lock but change gears before and after a corner..not during.

In my RX7, the TQ band falls off pretty bad during cornering and kicking the clutch to gain power makes you loose momentum, but its easy to switch gears while sideways to offset the losses.
