For a fraction of a second, maybe, but otherwise I can always see the cars around me. Without the car in the blindspot there is no accurate judge of proximity.

If you are both traveling the same speed you can lose an entire car for some time. You'll know how far away the car is because it will be right next to you. Just saying there's a reason they tell you to do it that way, it just takes a little g used to.

The garbage all-season tires that came on my FR-S. They definitely do not inspire any confidence..

they come with summer high performance radials they are NOT all-seasons tires.
i wish they were! i WANT all-seasons on the car as it would save me big bucks for having

I hated the blind spot until I read this and adjusted the mirrors.

You live in New Hampshire. All season tires on a small rear wheel drive car would simply not cut it. So unless you were willing to wait for dry pavement, you would have had to buy them anyway.

There are optional all seasons and I do have them, I'll scan my window sticker later. The tires are complete garbage!

not true! i don't need to go to work! i am retired so unlikely to get caught in a snowstorm anyway, and even if i do,with ballast in the trunk, along with the stability, traction controls, and positraction,i can get home with ''all seasons" and NOT be involved with the heavier snow! the car will be in the driveway, and let the guys clean up the roads!..

i was unaware that subaru fits the car with another optional tire from the factory!.there is nothing on the window sticker that would indicate that this is so!.all cars are being fitted with michilin primacy high performance ''summer" tires

Forget the ballast in the trunk. The center of gravity of the 86 is designed to be low and close to the center of the car. Putting weight in the trunk will make the car less balanced, and more likely to lose control on a curve.

I absolutely hate the fact that my right leg is in such an awkward position because ther eisn't enough room between the steering wheel and the console to squeeze my leg between...I am a regular commuter on the highway...

You know he's just getting feedback for the armrest, right? He's not a vendor, he can only relay suggestions. Relax.
