The very large blind spot on the drivers side, and the top of the seats. I love the seats but the top shape doesnt do so well with a helmet and isnt shaped to hold a four point harness.

I've had my FR-S for 2 weeks, and I am already used to the radio--I don't have to look.

lack of lumbar support.

no steering wheel controls doesn't bother me since the controls for it are easily within reach

not like you wouldn't have to take your hand off the wheel to shift anyway

Third brake light is in my view and keeps grabbing my peripheral vision in reflections etc when checking blind spots. I'm ready to saw the legs off it.

Usually you have a FAN switch or a VENT switch(so when you travel faster, fresh air goes through it). I hate having to wind down the windows to get fresh air.
Pretty sure this is the subaruness coming out because my outback does the same thing

Now that's I've had mine for a week, I can add a few things, but nothing serious enough for me to want something different.

Lack of steering wheel controls
Lack of storage compartments
Would prefer the iPod input be located in the glovebox or armrest
Truck release on the truck. I have a Premium that is lacking that. Comes on the Limited.

If you've ever looked at yourself in the rearview mirror, you can see like double reflections of yourself. Dunno what's up with that. Probably some solar physics shit but all I know is my Celica didn't do that lol.

And I've got to second that massive blind spot on the driver side. Luckily I've got my mirrors set up to accommodate it, but it still bothers me.

And no enclosed middle console storage.

And I have to turn my headlights on at night manually? I feel like most cars should be advanced enough by now to turn them on automatically based on the lighting conditions.

The double image is caused by a second mirror surface that's utilized when you switch the unit to nighttime mode. In daylight mode, you see the image on a highly reflective surface, in nighttime mode you see reflections in a very slightly reflective surface - the so-called dimmed mode. This works because the glass is actually triangular in profile with the highly reflective side on the back off the triangle (daylight mode) and the less-reflective surface directly applied to the front of the mirror. In daylight operation you see right through the less-reflective surface to the more-reflective surface in the back. The switch simply changes the angle of the glass to favor one surface over the other. But that never entirely gets rid of the other reflection. That's what causes the doubling.

What I hate most are people who don't own FRS/BRZ's commenting on what they hate most about these cars they don't own!

What I can't figure out is how the huge blindspot is on the driver side, I would've thought the blindspot issue would be on the passanger side because of how you have to look at it. Either way, this blindspot stuff makes me nervous because I'm used to my sedan and all that window space I've got to look through. Guess I'll have to look into those mirror placement guides.

Just get your mirrors set up so that you can see a car passing through your rearview, then side mirror, and finally adjacent to you in the window.

Some people say place your head close to the glass then adjust to see a sliver of your car, but that means you won't see your car in a normal driving posture, and I like to see down the side of my car when glancing over.

I like to sit as straight up as possible, facing forward, and only glance over with my eyes to adjust the mirror until I see a sliver of my car. Of course depends on your height as well.

If you can see the car in your side mirror you are leaving a blind spot.
