Uhh...I don't see how their comparison is even valid. Why couldn't they just compare both in 6MT? Without DSG, the auto can never match the engaging feel like the manual, not to mention it's not even a 7AT.

Personally I like the BRZ better. Not only cuz it's rare, but it just seems to be the entire brand and package offer more class than "Scion".

I do agree with you about this being a strange comparison based on a MT and an AT. But I do find it funny that both of them still came to their own conclusions and favored different strokes for each of their different folks. Personally, I love the extra luxury items on the BRZ, but the price and handling on the FRS (mostly price) makes it an easy decision for me. I'm poor.

Being that I was stuck to a auto, I've been looking for a comparo of the 6mt and 6at.. I know that a mt will be faster ... But then seen the better times of the two drivers and was shocked it was that close.. I was really expecting 7-10 seconds a lap.. Not down to just a second or two..

I have driven a AT version of the FRS, but not a MT yet. But it seems kinda like what I'd imagine with all cars. The throttle response on the MT will probably be better than the AT. You know, not having to go through a torque converter and all.

Love these guys.. I believe The BRZ is a nicer looking car, but I'm gonna have to drive both.

I'm surprised how different their opinions are about both cars. Very interesting video.
