well i think i am the First one in Australia to install and running a 86 with one of these bad boys, i installed in in around 45 minuets start to finish loved every bit of it, easy and straight forward instructions.. sucks that i cant get he $50 cash back tho hahaah oh wells.

i installed this prior to my trip down south and i must say the sound this generates is amazing the growl very happy... it also seems to improve throttle response slightly hahah it could just be me but yep i love it

Smile GREAT NEWS!!!

Thank you all for the kind words!!! Obviously customer service is very important to us and it's nice to know it's appreciated!

So many of you are aware that our "WTF" $50 rebate ends tomorrow. Well, I have some VERY EXCITING NEWS! Due to the overwhelming response to our FR-S / BRZ intake systems, our "WTF" $50 rebate is being extended until October 31st exclusively for these systems!!!!! So if you're still saving your pennies for one of our kits, you now have a little more time!

This rebate extension applies to these two part numbers:

510-307
511-307

This is just our way of saying thank you for all of your feedback and support!

I can't believe you Airaid. First you have the nerve to make an amazing kit and take my money then you send me $50 back? Wtf is my money not good enough for you! And instead of sending me some cheap ass shirt with a small Airaid logo on the left chest and blank on the back but instead actually send me a kick ass shirt? -.- you best believe I'm telling everyone about the way you run your bussiness!

Lol but seriously, thanks again for really helping us all out and making an amazing product. I love mine and it's still going great sounds wonderful and is a real eye popper for some. I'll be sporting your shirt this weekend at our meet and next weekend at the car show. <3 you guys and ajusa!

Just a quick update. Logged about 500km on my intake now. Still no bogging issues.

I actually switched back to stock to get a couple of my friends to test drive my car then threw back on the Airaid intake and got them to give me their feedback as well.

No one (3 guys) felt any bog. Everyone felt the car was a bit faster and one other guy said he felt the revs don't pick up as fast in the low rpm but cars feels faster still cause it felt more toquey.

Everyone loves the intake above 5K when it starts to really scream

Also thanks Airaid I just got my extra screws yesterday as well as a e-mail asking for my shirt size they will be sending with my rebate!

So best I will say this has been the best transaction I have made ever with any online vendor.

Official AIRAID Intake System Feedback, Pictures Thread

I was having a crappy day. My fantasy starters did terrible for me last night and people just drive like idiots out there. When I got home, I checked the mail and found a package from Airaid. I got excited and tore it open to find my $50 and a flippin awesome t-shirt! Thanks Airaid for making my day! Now, I just hope this positive mojo carries over through Sunday so I can get a win in Fantasy as well. Haha

So yesterday I went on a long drive with the local FT86 members here in PHX, we hit Red Rock country, Flagstaff, Lake Mary, Lake Mormon (dirt roads, gravel roads, missing roads omfg) - and not a single problem with the intake. I beat the shit out of my car, more than 500 miles and not a single issue with the intake. Was wonderful hearing it echo through the canyons, too. Probably going to have to clean out the filter tonight though, there is a moderate layer of dirt and dust in my engine bay now due to flying down that dirt/gravel road.

EDIT: I should clarify that now I have had this intake on my car for more than 1100 miles total.

Just installed an Airaid on the tireslayer! Took all of a lunch break to put on- no problems with hardware fitment whatsoever. Sounds great, I can feel a marginal amount of increased responsiveness from 3/4 to wide open throttle, and no engine bog to speak of. Thanks guys!

Had my intake for about 2 weeks now. Its awesome!! Sounds great, looks great, and was fairly painless to install (less 1 issue ill ask about in a sec). Id post pic but we've all seen them. My MPG drop1ed slightly but thats cause ive been a bit more liberal with the throttle since its install

Note to AJUSA: Try and ship with USPS to us canadians I got a nasty $100 brokerage bill from UPS which can be minimized by pre-paying these fees but i was unaware...

... Annd finally 1 small hiccup: I had to massage the filter box in to place more than i wanted to. Dunno if this is because it was hot out and the plastic had expanded slightly? But it took more force than I thought normal to sit it on its mounts all at once and get the bolts/studs in. All mounts were loose when this was done. Either way. Excellent job folks!

Wow! My brokerage along with another forum member who lives 30 minutes away was $73
$100 is brutal and really a deal breaker in the end for Canadians. UPS is the worst, they really really blow. Less likely to see brokearge with USPS
No fault of Vendor of course, great product and customer support.
It's Canadian customs that nails us and it doesn't help to see "Made in USA" stamped on every side of the box
When these are covered or hidden during shipment, we are less likely to get raped at the border

Awesome Vendor though and amazing intake

Haha thats the worst part! The "Duty" charge was $0 as per an american product. It was simply the brokerage and tax that nailed the $100 mark. If this was afe i would paid for the intake twice just in shipping fees!! I dont fault AJUSA in anyway for usung UPS, just wanted to let them know we like the good ol' made in USA USPS shipping service
