I've caught myself thinking, 'Well do you do anything besides look pretty and gossip?' when talking to some attractive young women. (And not an in-bed thing either...) I must be getting old...

It's times like these where I am very thankful that my brother and I bought lots of Apple stock about $400 dollars ago...

Where as with us anyone born into as some may call it "The Highspeed Generation" (being that they grew up only knowing highspeed broadband and web2.0) might as well be from a whole different part of the world, because they experienced such a different lifestyle then we have. in short: if you remember the sound of dial-up Internet, then you're of the previous generation from the girls now!! haha /end random thoughts.

So I took the Sandra Beam gender behavior test linked on the androgyny page on Wikipedia. I thought I was fairly masculine but not nearly as much as my father. As it turns I'm right on the line between masculine and androgynous.
Note that I'm talking about strictly behavioral gender roles and not gender. I'd never really gave it any serious thought. Now it makes me think about my childhood. My parents were concerned at one point about my lack of strongly defined masculinity when I was a kid. Even though they're pretty non-traditional about gender roles, they were children of the 80's. But hey I'm a nerd, so it doesn't bother me.Anyway, I've taken to wear a hat to cover up my embarrassingly short haircut. I had to use a shorter guard than I wanted. So I screwed it up and cut it so short it stands up all the time. I'd use gel but I have my pride. I still need to get the sides shaped. I had to return my brand new shaver after I found out it didn't have a trimmer (for my mustache). So I just finished my hair and trimmed my mustache to military spec last week and got to wear ACUs for ROTC. And guess what happened? Friday an Asian student asked if I was from Germany... I was polite and laughed casually. But I was and thinking hell no I ain't from Germany.

A car backed into me a couple weeks ago as I was driving through a parking lot. Got estimates today for $1000 and sent them to the other person (the collision was obviously her fault, and she admitted it right after it happened). Now that she saw the estimates she suddenly changed her mind on who's responsible. She wants me to pay for my car's damages, and she will pay for hers.. Her car has a little rubbing on some black plastic, while mine has a dent and scratches going from the rear door, across the tire and to the back fender.
Looks like she is going to pay up for my damages or I am going to have to go to the police.
