SRT FR-S/BRZ Full Exhaust System ... Sneak Peak!

Just got it installed today, and I LOVE IT!!! Make no mistake though, it is LOUD, but that's what I wanted. People looking for something that's medium to mild in sound, this is not for you. But my friends and I drive around with all kinds of loud and obnoxious cars so I love it. It definitely has an exotic sound to it, and none of the videos do it any justice, including mine. It almost sounded like a Lotus Exige with an exhaust. I was smiling like an idiot every time I got on it. Will be posting more videos this week. But wow, I'm more than impressed. Everything fit really well, and although it drones a bit when the exhaust is cold, once it warms up, it's buttery smooth, even at highway speeds I have no drone, and I have the small resonator.

curious, what type of camera you use? I think it records audio VERY accurate. It sounds mean! And by mean I mean (no pun intended) it sounds awesome. Too loud for my daily drive but really beautiful.

So has anyone be able to get a hold of them or received a tracking number with in the last week? i've called once last week and once this week and it was early morning, no answer, emailed few weeks ago no reply, and they have logged in this forum since 08-31-2012 11:33 AM....... I never really had issues getting ahold of them till lately!?!?!??!

EDIT: called and they answered!

Edit again, they are still awaiting the Larger resonators and should be in this week or early next week. According to Mo!

Nice I tried to call them earlier this morning but couldnt get a hold of them. Did you happen to ask about the 6AT?

AT pipes didnt sound as promising, all he said was if you got an auto it will take some time, but I never really asked and he never gave details, I called in the afternoon time here in Calgary twice and he answered both times right away. Id say just keep calling.

P.S. I also called UPS about fees, Gonna be about CND80$ charged from UPS, PLUS Duties and Taxes charged by the Government on top.

Thanks man! Glad someone got through! I am waiting on the large resonators too. Thanks for the heads up man.

It's just a Sony CX-160 Handycam. I think it does do really well though. My friend had an external mic on his camera, we went for a little ride and I think it captured the interior sound very accurately. Here's the link to his video:

Just got mine installed about 4 hours ago. Been driving the car since and man it sounds good. Haha on the highway on my way home I blew by a CBR 600 (he was stopped at the light and I timed the green) next light he eyes me and just guns it I ended up catching him stuck at the lights 2 intersections ahead and he turns and asked me why I didn't run it. I said it only has 200hp stock and he was confused as he thought it was an exotic when I blew passed him. We shared a laugh and he gave his praise on the sound.

Can't say I got any drone right now but give me a bit more time with the car.

I got B Tips and the larger resonators on my car and I will say I do agree the smaller resonators might have been just a tad too loud for me. This larger one is prefect for my taste


Just a word of caution but if you are like me picking up these parts from a shipping place then you should know that the parts in the boxes will not fit inside the FRS. I managed to get only the pipes in the car and had to unbox the muffler section. (also SRT packed it with the most peanuts I have ever seen)

haha can I come by and check out the exhaust??!! lol and good to know.. I'll get my friend to help me pick up the exhaust in point roberts! did they tax you?

Yeah sure I was actually in Richmond for the longest time too.

Yeah they charged me 117 CND for duty. I think I got the same American guard you did cause he was just like "Hey, I thought this was a Scion not a Toyota" when I pulled up hahaha

Has anyone heard from them about the automatics? Last time I talked to mo he said he was waiting for one more person to get back to him on test fitting the new pipe. I tried them a few times today but no one picked up. I'm trying to be very patient but the lack of communication is starting to bug me.

I agree, this video is supper freakin accurate in terms of sound. amazing little handycam you got there. I tried taking videos myself for people on here but the sound never matched.
