Thank you for your comments. It s truly unfortunate that there are posters on this forum who lack consideration and appreciation for the ethnically diverse members of this forum.

It's not about being thick skinned, it's about common decency which the involved poster has historical issues. IMHO.

Accelerator lag, dainty little girl clutch, heavy flywheel?, and mis-located shifter I have gotten used to, so now my other car is going to feel incredibly awkward the next time I drive it. I still don't like not feeling the clutch engagement in my leg...from a stop I just have to feel it with the car lurching forward, and while moving it's more of a faith thing.

The lack of steering wheel audio controls is annoying me far more than I thought it would...every volume adjustment and track/mode change conjures a tiny amount of anger, and I still start out trying to change these on the wheel about 1/5 times.

No holder for sunglasses is also starting to rank pretty high for me.

The cupholders as well...I didn't think I would really care, but they are sized to only fit a fatass American super-mega gulp. It's like somebody told Subaru that Americans only buy giant Sodas. For the BRZ, you would think that they could have sized cup-holders for fancy-ass coffee-sized cups. The placement in the center console is awkward if you are trying to drink from whatever is there, but I normally just use it to hold a cup of coffee to drink at my desk.

The lack of armrest is promoted to a hate. It took more driving in traffic and waiting at stoplights to surface, but it is irksome.

Still don't like the seats for long drives, but they are fine for shorter trips and hold you in place well.

So, there's my improvement list for 2014...add steering wheel audio controls, sunglasses holder, and an armrest, and I will have to trade in my car for a new one...especially if they can find some more torque hanging around.

The comment about the super mega gulp made me LMAO.
Here's a solution: Use a bottle, as any cup more than half full will probably spill anyways.

As for the steering wheel audio controls, this is a drivers car and comfort/stereo were not priorities. They went the minimalist route so there wouldn't be anything messing with the driver to car connection.

the term wasn't meant to be offensive,it's an abbreviation is all!

I lived in Japan for a long time and the word jap is not offensive to them.

Moving on, if you pay that you are crazy

If anything, the steering wheel controls improve the driver to car connection. Doing anything to the radio means I have to take my hand off the wheel and look over at the radio screen to make sure I hit the right "button". I might even meet subaru halfway and just be satisfied with a head unit that has some kind of tactile feedback so I don't have to look at the damn thing to do something.

...and bottles are definitely the way to go, but my morning coffee does not come in them

The ONLY thing I don't like/is missing is on my car, you cannot allow FRESH AIR through the car(like old cars can) :/
Usually you have a FAN switch or a VENT switch(so when you travel faster, fresh air goes through it). I hate having to wind down the windows to get fresh air.
