NEW: Asphalt Gray Auto
New here........
I just picked up my fresh new FR-S today.I have 81 miles on her & really like the car. My History: I am a Harley Guy(2011 SE 110 ultra) but have liked mid/sized sports cars over the years.I have owned 2 vettes & I ordered a 350Z when they came back to the market in 2003.I also had 1 convert Z & just got rid of a Genesis tubo 6-speed,nice car with cold air intake Poweraxel & cat back exhaust. I was going to buy the 6-speed FR-S but after driving them both,I chose the paddle shifter. All I can say is AWESOME..... Really liking the car. I did want to get feedback on a reasonably priced exhaust & cold air intake & also find out if it is worth spending the $ for the automatic. Thanks,Tom |

Hey everyone proving to be a great forum so far (I've only been posting in the Australia subsection).
I've owned a Toyota 86 GT model for almost two months now and have already taken it for a blast around the track! Here's a pic, I just put on the new wheels today. ![]() ![]() Rolling on Enkei's #1 by jamesimaze, on Flickr |

Hi all.
Great forum, I have spent a couple of week trying to get through the mountain of information on here and I'm only just scratching the surface. It's a refreshing change. Too often worldwide markets offer such different products, but not with this car. We are all going to be able to share comments and experiences about a common interest that we all have. I ordered my 86 a bit late, only last week. It took me awhile to appreciate the new 86 enough to want one. After I spent a few hours reading this forum and others, and taking one for a test drive I was hooked. Like any car, it has somethings I like and don't like, but a car is like a house; if the basics are there, it is easy to finish it off how you like it. I'll be using my 86 as a 'fun semi-daily'. I have a hilux 4x4 and an Audi Wagon as practical cars. I have an AE86 with a 3sg beams for the track, a ke20 with an sr20det for lulz, (considering selling this due to lack of use) and a JDM te27 trueno. I'm trading my '03 Accord Euro on the 86, as since I got the Audi the Honda serves no purpose. (I should've traded it on the Audi) Here are the 86's family members at home, waiting for her to arrive.... ![]() ![]() ![]() You can see more pics of the crew by following my sig. I had a few vids on youtube under my user, but took the interesting ones down and left the walk arounds there. I need to open another private account for the 'off-road' vids. Mike |

HOLY SHNYKESE! YO, this car is fucking doap, but watch out on future aftermarket installations, your C.E.L. will come on. Please be patient, once it comes on. You will have to wait to enjoy your car to its full extent. Unless you are one of those lucky bastards who has a "perfect 86, BRZ or FRS. This car is very lovable, but don't forget it is a 1st gen. vehicle! My mom reminds me when she bought the first generation Hyundai Santa, BOY WAS THAT A PIECE! I believe Subaru/toyota has a trick under there sleeve to take care of this issue.

Long time Lurker, first time Poster!
So, I placed an order for a 6MT Raven FR-S on August 22 in St. Catharines Ontario.
I'm very excited for this car. To the point I think I'm driving my parents crazy with my constant links to posts on here for possible christmas gifts.... LOL This community is very informative and it's been really helpful. I graduated College back in December and have been working since February. This is my first brand new car and I'm really excited! Just wanted to stop in, say hi, and say !ETA: OCT. 3rd, 2012! I can't wait! Paul |

Hey everyone!
Bought my 6MT Asphalt FR-S in Vegas almost two months ago now, and I have to say I'm completely in love with it :]
So far it's been tinted, smoked out tail-lights, and headlights have been replaced with 8k HID's. Looking forward to modding the hell out of it and seeing what cool ideas you guys have to offer! |
