Nope. I did it without removing it and got all the installation hardware in.

Its comes as an option on the Subaru. I ordered it from them.

Like the rear look. BTW , can you describe the steering wheel feel and the handling differences between the ISF vs FRS? I'm thinking get an ISF for weekend sedan.
