The new black ones look good.
Would definitely look at getting a pair if you customised with Toyota and 86 pistons logo.
And will ship to Aus.

I would take anything over the factory sills at this point. They scream "parts bin!"

What if you made the inside part of the engraving silver and the outside black, or vice versa? Provide a little contrast. They look great already, but maybe just a little more flair is needed.

I'll try to get a worldwide shipping system setup. We currently only ship to the Americas.

I'm a little confused by your statement. The engraving is silver in that photo. You want black lettering with a silver background?

They will be completely customizable, so if you don't like the final design you can always order a set with your name, car club logo, dragons, kittens, whatever you like! I'm just trying to gauge what the majority of people would like on a standardized set since I'm sure not everyone will want personalized sets.

Will do. I'll try to machine a third option this weekend for the Toyota crowd. I'm guessing you'd prefer the FR-S to be replaced with the 86?

They are not currently for sale. We're still trying to gauge what the community wants so we can provide a product that everyone here can enjoy. If you have any input on the design or changes you'd like to see, I'd greatly appreciate it!

Thank you everyone for the input so far! I hope I can meet everyone's expectations and provide the quality of service that you all deserve.

What I meant is this: The sill plates have that engraved outline running across the perimeter of the sill. If you either made the inside part of that outline silver and kept the outside part black, or made the outside silver and kept the inside black, it could have a nice contrast. Make more sense?

I think I understand now. I'll try to work out a way to do that. Unfortunately the silver inside the lettering would have a machined finish, which is something most people don't like for whatever reason. I think it looks gorgeous, but most prefer brushed.

This is how machined finishes look:

They retain the circular pattern that the endmill creates when it passes over the metal, so it's very reflective and "blingy" to most.

I'll try to come up with a solution this weekend to see if I can make the lettering pop out more.

Here is what I'm imagining the Toyota 86 sills would look like:

I second that (with the Subaru BRZ instead of Toyota, of course). They look great!
