From that, I get this interpretation.. They have loyalty to their company and are proud of the work, but they have limited knowledge as well. Obviously they are going to want credit for their parent company's work and claim their engineers did all the work. Seems immature to me. It's called a joint effort for a reason.

So even though a lot of what SOA Blog said is true, the point of contention is that they didn't give Toyota credit for doing anything, right?

Wait so maybe I'm being an idiot but I don't think anyone has commented on what the 9 foot high antenna on the back is for...I just noticed it.

I know it's actually antenna, my bad. And it looks like a regular CB radio antenna , nothing special about it IMHO.

How soon after these types of spottings can we expect a release? I am itching for a new car and don't know how much longer I can wait.

Agree. Subaru finally brought their engine up to current design practices and improved fuel economy:
http://www.autoblog.com/2010/09/23/s...linder-engine/ Then, Toyota added D4-S state of the art fuel injection; and then Yamaha applied their expertise to the head according to several reports (ala 2ZZ-GE). And then, the Scion America VP said that the new FR-S will get "amazing" fuel economy. The statements about Toyota making a corporate decision to spend some money on the suspension to get the handling right... Definitely a lot of Toyota input. |
