I do remember reading on the SOA blog, they did say it was there idea to ask Toyota if they wanted to do a joint venture on a project. It turned out to be the ft86 we are all going crazy over.

Hey cyde, you wouldn't happen to know who drew that old AE86 successor concept drawing where the car was basically a futurized rounded AE86 hatch? I've been trying to find that picture. Remember seeing it on club4. |

I made a phone call and saw if my "hook up" can get us more info... hopefully he'll be able to, but he's kinda sounds like he cares less about this car / project. LOL.

When they showed up back in 2008 everyone over on NASIOC threw the BS flag, flamed them, and treated them the same way TRDLiquid was treated when he first showed up here. SOA Blog's account was frozen until moderators could verify through independent sources that they were indeed legit. Trust me they are who they say they are... and that's why there's even a sticky thread for you to ask them questions directly. They are legit... but they only represent Subaru of America's opinion of the situation which may or may not be 100% correct (the cars are being built in Japan by SOJ etc). |
