This thread is priceless. Please accept my personal thank you!

I'd like to inquire about adding another criteria which would be BBK friendliness. Can we incorporate some type of criteria about a particular wheel's BBK clearance?

I know this is a bit more subjective since it's much more difficult to measure with many many variables involved outside of your typical ABC caliper measurements but i'd like to hear thoughts on this?

I'm holding back on purchasing wheels because I know eventually I will be going with a set of BBKs.

switchlanez confirmed that the BRZ STI wheels in black that are 17x7.5 +48 do weigh 18.4lbs.

Also Scooby South on NASIOC confirmed that the stock FR-S/BRZ wheel weighs 20.1lbs.

The 18x7.5 +48 BRZ STI wheels were just released late last week. No weight given since STI Japan doesn't release that information according to Yuki with Japanparts.com.

Thanks again Darren, best thread I've ever come across and it keeps getting better! Now if only there were a few more wheels out there with the fitment I wanted

I updated the weights of the stock 17" wheels. I couldn't locate the link for the 17x7.5 +48 STi wheels in the directory to update those weights... do I have them on there yet or are you just throwing the weights out there for future reference?

That would require a LOT of research for every wheel... and since we only have weights for about a third of the wheels, you can see that not many people (aside from me, apparently) are willing to spend all of their extra time on this topic. If you want to research every wheel and rate their BBK friendliness then I will gladly include that information in the directory.

I see... I was looking for a topic with these wheels mounted on a car, but it looks that doesn't exist... yet. When that appears I will list the info on the Wheel Directory along with those weights. Thanks.

I pm'd switchlanez, asking if he could create a thread topic for the wheels so you can add them officially. Thanks, sir!
