If you check out my car journal. I have the Perrin header back and I'm compleatly happy with it. I've got a couple of sound clips as well.

My favorite exhausts are the MXP and Milltek, i actually happen to be selling my personal MXP because i'm doing some proto-typing.

It has a very deep tone, the bass can't be reproduced by computer speakers.

There are lots of great exhausts out there, just depends on what you think sounds the best in your mind. I would take a look at some videos on youtube, or go to a local meet and see if you can hear some in person as well... Here's one of my favorites:

Perrin's definitely a great choice, but they're currently backlogged due to the popularity. I ordered my catback during Black Friday and I'm told it won't be shipped until at least the end of December.

The Perrin is replacing my GReddy Evo 3 which has a fantastic sounding throaty tone, but unless you keep the silencers in (which makes it pretty weak sounding in comparison), you'll end up with a resonant drone at 3-4K RPM. Some people don't mind it, but it makes me nauseous at highway speeds. I put the silencers back in while I wait for my Perrin replacement.

Did you order matte black? I ordered a matte black one at the same time but I know they're waiting on the powdercoater they use to ship them more. I can't wait to get mine!! I installed Overpipe and catted front pipe today along with their shifter bushing and trans mount and pulley. They all work extremely well for each of their intended purposes. I also got notification from Mat at billetproshop that they had the issue with the rattle completely solved on the last two vehicles that had an issue. I'm stoked to install that next...

More excited about the Perrin Catback and intake I'm waiting on!! The quality of their parts is amazing!!

no such thing as a best exhaust. my best isn't your best or the next guy's. Get what you like as far as sound, looks and price point. If you like one exhaust and can' afford it just yet, save up and don't settle for something just because you can afford it now.

Did you order the resonated or unresonated perrin catback?
