I have been following the car for a couple of years and liked the idea. I had a 1989 MX5 last century and liked it a lot. My Liberty GTB will be six years old next April. So time for a new car and the BRZ is just right. The only thing wrong is the wait.

I'd first managed to get up close to the concept in person at Tokyo Autosalon and loved the idea of the car. I researched the car on and off over the following years but was swaying towards a Golf GTI. When the car was announced I knew I liked it but couldn't afford it outright, and wasn't willing to place an order straight away as I didn't want delivery this year. So I held off, inspected the Toyota's a bit closer but wasn't entirely sold on the looks. Then the BRZ came out and I was keen, the styling appealed to me more. I sat in both, test drove the BRZ and decided that was the car for me. I placed an order last month for delivery in roughly 12 months which will work out perfectly for me financially.
