Why? Usually "off the shelf" dealer options are really not that great. base model or even made to a price for a manufacture (like Bose, HK etc)

You are in Sydney, go down and see Marty at FHRX ( http://fhrxstudios.com.au/aboutus.asp) , tell him how much you want to spend and what you want out of it and he will do something way better than the JBL system.

Good set of splits, nice sub.. all you need.

I have been talking to my installer today about mine, he is more excited than me about getting this car haha.

We are putting in it.
CDT Splits
Resonate Engineering SL10 sub
Alpine 7998r headunit
Audison Voice 5 channel amp

Nice and basic, not too heavy and will blow majority of the stereo's out there out of the water for quality.
I just picked mine up today and took it straight to my Audio guy.

I'm going active with a Bit one and they are all chomping at the bit to get started..

He was surprised by the compact nature of the boot. Looks like i'm going to have to take out the spare and replace it with a space saver / repair kit otherwise i'll lose most of my boot space. Mind you i'm getting a Voce Uno, Duo and Quattro so there will need to be a false floor put in.

He installed the Voce 5 Channel for another client the other day and said he was amazed how good it was for a 5 channel.

I have a 1996 honda accord and the stock sound quality is no word of a lie - spectacular! and that's just 6x9's in the back, (not sure what in the front) and an aftermarket 10 year old JVC head unit - the sound for me is that good I'm considering just taking the speakers out and getting them put in the 86.... will check out autobarn still...
