I dinged the fender

Argh, I went to get the ladder from my garage to get on the roof and thought: should I back out the BRZ first? Nah, I'll just be sure not to hit it with the ladder. So, I don't hit it with the ladder, but I did knock the push broom over which smacked the fender. Now I have a small crease in the fender line. It is just small enough to not seem worth fixing, but noticeable enough to bug me. A search for paintless dent repair on google maps shows the nearest place about an hour away near my in-laws house. Right now I plan to just live with it for now, and if I get a door ding I may bring it in to get them both fixed.

<_< I wonder if Mazda uses a tougher glass or something because I've heard some pretty loud rocks hit my windshield and scare me before I start looking for the crack, but I've never seen a single crack in it. I really hope this doesn't happen in my FR-S and instantly crack it. Stay strong guys!

I now have three big dings above my passenger door. There is also damage to the plastic wrap? that sits between the window and the door.

It looks like someone tried to slide something down between the window and door to maybe jimmy the lock... failed and stabbed my car =(.

So... in this situation..

Would you have let the guy steal your car if he was successful and just simply let insurance get you a new one (assuming you've got full coverage)?

Or..

Does living with the fact that someone tried to steal your car and left his battle marks on your car more hurtful to you or someone taking the entire vehicle?

But... if I saw the guy I'd kick him in the Jimmys and stomp on his walnuts.

Anyone know what a painted BRZ premium bumper costs? I tried to avoid eating it head on by swerving right, but I just punted a 2ft long 3in wide metal pipe elbow across i20 from the right lane before exiting to go home. It was just bouncing around in the middle of my lane! WTF! Seriously hoping nobody gets hurt by it. What did I do to deserve this?!!

With any luck a painted bumper without install labor costs less than $1000 which would keep me out of insurance/carfax hell. Not holding my breath.

Oooof sorry to hear about it. My car is all fixed now, but this happened after a fat raccoon darted in front of my car:

I decided to go through insurance, but I believe the total cost of new bumper painted and installed was around $750. So you might be in luck.

At first they received and installed this weird bumper by mistake, so make sure you get the right one:

Here she is now after the fix:

If I had a limited it would have shattered the fog light! Huge gashes in the plastic vents. The bumper flexed on impact and the driver's side marker popped clean out and I secured it again fine. The big gash includes a nice clean crack from the bottom all the way under.

Yeah, I was absolutely devastated at first, but now that it's fixed I feel fine. I don't think the color-matching is as perfect as stock, and the wheel-well liner doesn't look perfect if you stick your head in there, but overall it's almost as good as new.

My roof molding fell off while entering the highway. Any idea on where I can get a replacement and for how much?
