car seat in the rear seat?

Does any one know if a child seat will fit in the rear? Im considering trading in my highlander for this car but I have a 3 year old.

I've seen some pictures of child seats in the back of this car but it seems to be a tough squeeze. I have not read this article but, these people seemed to have had a rough time: http://blogs.cars.com/kickingtires/2...seat-fail.html

The consensus seems to be that you will be losing a lot of utility when it comes to family moving with this car. But, hopefully you can pull it off it is fun. Best of luck!

I first tried a $200 bulky seat and I was so high that the head would go too close to the rear window. I then tried $50 cheap seat and it was perfect. You need to carefully measure before buying one to make sure it fits.

That;s a very good point. I think we keep thinking if the car seat can fit behind the front passenger seat but never really side the height of the car seat since the car curve down a lot.

I seen people put car seat on the front of a 370z. Never really thought that was legal but I guess if it is a 2 seater... it's fine.

I have car seat in my BRZ. Fits well in the back, but can be used only if passenger seat is not occupied (at least for long enough ride).

I carry 2 kids to daycare in the back, no boosters just full car seats. Big stroller in the trunk too.

I'd say driver inseam 30 or less ok, more you'll be removing leg room from the back. Passenger side has more room to move up than it seems. Rear facing ugh, never did it.
