Traffic Tickets Anyone?

For everyone telling me to get a lawyer, this isn't a reckless driving charge. Just in FL, 30 over counts as a court date. Am I still gonna get screwed(aka over $1,000 fine)/lose my license?

Hate to say it but you may need to get with a lawyer just see what possible punishment or fines you're looking at and maybe he/she can at least help do some damage control.

I've had my Firestorm FR-S 2 days now and i got pulled over this morning for not using my turn signal. Absolutely zero traffic on a 4 lane road but a cop got me for not putting my blinker. He gave me a warning since i wasn't speeding but he admitted his actual reason was to look at the car. Cool cop i guess but the FireStorm Red might be a cop magnet ^_^

yes! a more "'subdued" color,like gray,or silver is better,because one can "blend" in traffic better,and NOT stand out! it's only natural for a cop to notice you in a red car!

this is true,however if i AM breaking the law,and pissing down the road doin' 80 plus,i PREFER NOT being noticed especially by a cop which really is difficult to do when driving a "bright ass" color like "red!"

IDK know about Florida but here in NY you plea not guilty, go to court the cop drops the ticket down to a lesser offense. They get there money and you keep your license, so you can get more tickets and give them more money.

like that other guy said, they are all broke and looking for an easy target. these cars are certainly easy... i try to be on a lookout all the time.. but eventually our luck will run out -- esp in this car !

71 in a 55 = 16 over
70 in a 55 = 15 over

Citations are based on how excessive your speed over the limit is, and for most states 15 vs 16 is a threshold for speeding vs reckless driving.

Ahh, I missed that part. I just got off from working over 40 hours at my restaurant this weekend (one close and 3 doubles.) and am a little fried.

I don't think the prequalifier of "on fast lane" means anything. What was the Speed Limit in that zone? In my area it's usually 65-70 on the Interstates.
