But seriously, the BIONIC driving gloves are nice and unassuming, and available in fingerless design if you prefer.

I've never seen a fingerless driving glove from bionic..not sure I'd want one, knowing how hard it is to get the full fingered ones off.

I'd just like to add that if you take video and want to see your hand movement, you should get a bright color glove (like highlighter green). I have black sparco gloves and it's hard to see what my hands are doing.

I went ahead and upgraded my gloves since the Shift GTR's were no longer functional. Went with Alpinestars Tech 1-ZX's for a good price... really like the fitment better than the Shift GTR (which was external seamed as well) and hopefully it lasts longer as well (I think it will due to the all nomex construction - no worries about the leather deteriorating....)

I have DJ Safety driving gloves. Comfortable for hours on end. Wore them desert racing and use them now. They're a cloth/leather combo.

If you want to just try some gloves out, get some mechanix gloves...I used them for a year before I could justify the coin on nice gloves...then after that, you can use them to work on the car!

I've currently got some Alpinestars Tech 1S gloves and they do the job. No stitches are in the wrong place to put weird pressure on your hands like my Alpinestars motorcycle gloves.

I've tried the Bionic Gloves. It's important to measure for the correct size. Pricey. Had to return a pair I got as a gift for someone b/c they were stitched too tight on index fingers.

Other suggestions for DD gloves that might also go well with regular street clothes???

All of the racing gloves here are fine for the track, but maybe a bit odd arriving at work.

Zombie thread was already resurrected so I figure I might as well +1 the Sparco Tides. I use them at the track and love them.

I use flight gloves from Hatch. They're Nomex/Kevlar blend with leather palms. Available at an Air Force base near you! Or on [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Hatch-BNG190-Flight-Glove-Nomex/dp/B005J0IJOA"]Amazon[/ame].

I actually leave them in the car all the time, just in case my hands get dirty I can grab them instead of getting my steering wheel dirty.

I use a nice set of red Sparcos I got off Ebay for $28 for LeMons racing and track days. You can get a good deal on Ebay if you watch intently and find the right seller.
