I actually REALLY wanted to remove that thing as soon as I saw it. I just figured it's going to be impossibly tight in there, to remove it without pulling the piping

I don't remember off hand, and I may very easily be mistaken. All the threads sort of blend together after a while, you know?

5 bolts.. super simple to get to. The exhaust is really easy to remove (minus the cross pipe). You can take just that tiny little section out and remove it

EDIT: The stock secondary cat and helmholtz chamber are on the same very small section.

There will be a groupbuy soon for the new Quieter Nameless axleback exhaust. It will happen anytime now, as soon as @Jason@Nameless gathers all data/videos he has and is able to post it.

It'd help for sure, but I'm really strapped at the moment

"Well why bother even looking?"

I'm trying to make a game plan, and on top of that, I'm strapped, but not to the point that I couldn't make this resonator delete happen

I'll likely think about this, then think about it some more, and then some more, and finally end up doing something that I didn't think about at all, and just went with on a whim >.<

Nah, we haven't heard or experienced this at all, there is a ton of clearance to the bumper for the track pipe. I think someone may have hit their leg on it getting things out of the trunk after a spirited drive, however. Perhaps that was what the previous poster had read.

There was a thread earlier when someone literally melted their bumper by literally deleting their muffler. Probably that's what he was referring too, but that had nothing to do with Nameless track pipe.

No problems with my Nameless track pipe/muffler delete. Drove the car an hour to an autocross last Sunday, took 10-12 autocross laps, drove it an hour home, no issues with melting or overheating the bumper at all. I love it. I was initially afraid it would be too loud and I'd have to swap back and forth with the stock muffler between autocross events, but I'll just leave it on all summer. Isn't that loud at all, inside or outside the car.

I think that was the DG spec car and they had a full single pipe exhaust.

Totally my bad, I apologize

I thought I'd seen something about heat and melting issues, but I may have either misread it, or simply friggin' dreamt it up >.<

Again, my apologies.

You didn't but it wasn't Nameless exhaust.
