Thats insane.
a universal mishimoto 10 row kit is $200 from summit racing
I hate to see us get ripped off, no reason for any oil cooler to cost that much on a NA car...

I would figure a regular B&M with a Greddy sandwich or Prosport sandwich would work fine. I was going to do earl lines and a B&M cooler for my trans

well I am ready to place orders for the greddy plate but where is the spacer thingy they show? doesnt look like a sandwich will fit in the frs oil filter 'cup'

I wanna avoid ordering stuff that wont fit and dont want to do any butchery.

Negative. The little cup under the oil filter keeps pretty much any sandwich plate from fitting properly. Too bad the cup is part of the block and not removable (without a saw).

I just want the greedy spacer.

^ agreed. Even the most demanding situtations for cars on the streets don't require an oil cooler most of the time. The demanding situations on the track yes, but on the streets probably not.

I paid $600 for a Setrab/Nismo kit for my Z33. Hopefully I can score one for the 86 around that price. If not I suppose the HKS one will have to do.

Edit- Agreed that it is only necessary with a car that is used in some type of motor sport. Even on the recreational level.
