Eventually I'll post a review.. but.. my aim solo battery died after 1 lap with the springs, so going with the extremely accurate gopro video timer method the fastest lap with stock vs sportlines showed an improvement of approx 1.5 seconds and an average in the sessions of 2-3. I didn't do a ton of data measurement (surface temps, tire temps, etc) since I'm not that much of a detail person...
Alignment and video of a few laps with the springs is here (as well as alignment info for FRSSpdDmn): http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15789 Overall balance was changed to understeer/push but IMO that's the alignment I requested on purpose as I didn't want to risk the car 1,100 miles from home on a track not exactly known for being forgiving. Unfamiliar car and a rushed spring install.. seemed like a bit of push would be a good idea I also left VSC Sport on but besides flashing the light annoyingly every time ABS engaged and/or I used curbing it didn't really engage.Yes, I was a wuss @ mid ohio Sebring in Oct (or maybe late September) I'll be able to explore the limits when I'm comfortable

FWIW i'm going to be trying out the Endless compounds for the last few months of the year. currently using DS2500 F and stoptech performance R with no problems. RBP600 fluid but thinking of trying AP600 also. i'll provide my feedback if you want it. total spent on "researching" compounds is around $900 now. smh

I assume you were on OEM shocks. Did you feel that the dampening was tolerable as the car was lowered and the spring rates were (I'm assuming) raised a bit?

I'd love to find something with similar initial bite to the blues but without the rust dust problem.. and without the short life expectancy of blues. The XP10s are much better than the last Cobalts I used though.

There's evidence to show that the OEM dampers are overdamped for the OEM springrate, and the car now feels ever so slightly underdamped, but on the edge. It's not in any way bouncy, no excessive motion, etc so on the high side it seems fairly well damped. The car is low enough now that you have to be careful though, it can bottom out. After almost 2,000 miles though the dampers are holding up fine though.

What would you guys suggest for a daily driver? I will probably do new rotors and pads in the spring just curious if i should get something like the Stoptech sport kit, i don't see a need to change the lines though.

so new feedback....the stoptech performance pads are fine front and rear. i dare say better than ds2500 f and stoptech r....brakes were more balanced this wknd and really slowed better even tho i didn't have as aggressive front bite. still load the front well and trail better actually because of how i changed my braking points and pressure. way less abs kick tho and it felt smoother.
did have fade but my brake fluid is really dirty so it may have been more fluid fade than pad. tear down tomorrow and i'll let everyone know... but for now i have to say i'm impressed with my 'backup' brake pads. this car just keeps me smiling. for anyone looking for a good street pad, go ahead and try the stoptech, good cold bite, quick bedding, and decent endurance in a light car. when i change tires i may have a different opinion but if you're gonna be stock for a while it's a good upgrade. and the price is great too.

for those raving about the Ferodo ds2500s, id highly recommend you guys take a look into the new Project Mu HC+800 compound. So far, these are the only "dual purpose" track pad that I havent had fade on me at the track and the price point is right on.

Stock pads were fine with stock tires. I put on StopTech performance pads. Work great with Dunlop Star Specs. Good bite and modulation. Can't speak to fade, as auto-x runs are a minute or less. Maybe a little more dust and noise*.
