I know a guy who owns the Ferrari 400i GT with the 3 speed GM automitic. Do i have to say that again? 3 speed GM automatic? Besides having the worst god damn transmission in the whole god damn world it was a great car, i love it. It only cost him around $25,000 to get it and he has owns it for over a year now and loves it. Hes thinking about doing a restomod on it, change breaks, suspension, upgrade some engine parts. Its by no means a fast car but it just doesnt matter when your driving it. It has a very unique character, only Ferrari ive driven to this day.

I'd buy the Ferrari and put a turbo on it.

Hard to argue with the noise.

Although a turbo 86 would probably be way more fun.

This kind of thread on this board just cracks me up. Seriously, you 86 owners are delusionally overrating your $25k car by even mentioning it in the same sentence of Ferrari Testarossa or other legendary sports cars in other threads...get real. Some people in this thread even gave the look of FR-S/BRZ over Ferrari Testarossa...seriously? Ferrari Testarossa is legendary. FR-S/BRZ is nothing more of a nice-looking new car in the current trend.

Oh, I forgot you were the utmost authority on what I and others consider to be the more attractive car. Silly me. But while you're here. There's a tercel and caprice across the street and I can't seem to decide which one is more of crapbox. Could you tell me what I think?

It's just a fun comparison. If you don't like it, please go back to trolling the 370Z forum. As a 240Z owner, the fact that Nissan had the delusion to say that your car traces its lineage from the legendary 240Z is what really cracks me up. There, how's that make you feel?

"As a 240Z owner"...? seriously, apparently now bunch of people on this board just claim they have "owned" this, "driven" that. But the reality is, you or they probably never did own or drive any car you people claim so.

Owned since August 2007, want me to scan the title and bill of sale?

Driven a 2010 Black Cherry 370Z 6MT with 20k miles; when I worked for Porsche/Audi there was a Nissan dealer 1/4 mile down the street. Oh, I guess I need to provide documentation for that, too.

Fair enough. I do love the 240Z, but never got a chance to actually own one of it. I just dig its classic retro look.

I doubt a testarossa could beat an FR-S around most racetracks......while they were built as a supercar....they really don't perform all that well.....and they are insanely expensive to own-run..... not to mention the extra 1000lbs they carry around too...

I work with exotic cars and while the Ferrari looks cool and sounds good maintenance will kill you. The major services on it require removing the engine (easily $10k) and reliability would be an issue. Spend a little extra and get a 360 if you really want a Ferrari, it will be much cheaper in the long run. I will say my FRS is as fun to drive as the exotics
