Just installed mine two days ago. Before I install Airaid, I have my K&N filter running in my original box. I did test from 15k-25k and 25k-35k with my K&N and stock filter before I install my Airaid. I drove for two days now and seem fine with the Airaid and don't have any issue. I did disconnect before install my Airaid. I do a lot of low speed city driving and my car runs fine. The only thing that difference between the stock box and Airaid is when I accelerate from low rpm the car seem less response than the stock box. other than that it is fine. Hope ppl with issue will have a fix soon!!

I experience this issue in all my car with aftermarket intake, and I found out factory box do have a little box link with the intake tube. And it may help once you do accelerate from low rpm. I may want to try to delete the sound tube and put a little box there see if help. And I always think those little box exist for a reason from factory. What do you think? Until now it seem my K&N with original box is more responsive.

Right, it's a problem with intake designs. We think it's related to the air straighteners that exist in the stock intake just before the sensor that aftermarket intakes don't have.

If you could, could you report your bogging in this thread:

This platform really has a great aftermarket performance vendor community. Good to see you guys working together to iron things out.

I did already. Just got home to take a look of original design and the little Bo's is removable but unfortunately the hole is too small to fit in the air raid box. I really want to try to put that little box between the tunnel see if any improvement. Did drive more tonight and when I accelerate from low rpm I can see the car rev but hesitate to go. From higher rev it do pull better and the sound is great!

Looks great, and thanks for the feedback. Don't forget to post a picture of your car as well for the Facebook album.

Thanks,
David

Just installed the intake with the Perrin lightweight pully...

Sounds great!

I left the snorkel on for the time being as I will be removing the bumper cover over the next week to install HIDs.

Was it worth the $300 for the two parts? Absolutely!

I only drove a few kms, but didn't notice any bogging or power cut down low. Same as other people have mentioned, the car is less responsive at very slow speeds/RPMs and does need a bit more on the throttle than with the stock intake, but this seems pretty standard when installing an aftermarket intake. You are not going to notice this when you are driving around normally.. and up high the car feels like it is breathing better.

I will drive around a bit more over the next few days and report if there is any issues.

Great job Airaid! So far I am very happy with the intake.

That sir, can be considered bogging. It's just not to the degree that some of us are experiencing. You may not notice it as much, but for us that have to sit in stop and go traffic, it sucks lol.

I will say the unit looks damn good in the engine bay though.
