Very good news

I hope you will catch up your schedule with no prob

250whp with a flat predictable torque is a real sweet&safe spot IMO

I've seen some of your exhaust prototype for the BRZ\86, would you be willing to include it in this kit as an option?

I wish I could keep my stock injectors & ECU as well - will you be offering EcuTek maps along, so user could avoid spending hours on a dyno?

Just plug this whole thing in and.... off we go!

One more thing - as you seem to have no primary cat in the exhaust manifold anymore, are you planning to run a sportcat in the overpipe?

I just hate that smell of a full cat-less system, taking my hat off in front of minor power loss. I assume as you are not aiming 500+whp with this kit, it could be a very wise choice for lots of daily-driven cars, which have to cope with government exhaust pollution regulations & sound level restrictions

pls pls?

Of course, we will have several packages available once all is done. We just start with the base kit and add options from there, so that the customer has choices for other parts. Many people that buy the kit will already have some sort of exhaust in place.

As with our other kits, we'll create a base mapping for the turbo kit for that plug in and go option. It will require you have the EcuTek license/cable already, of course, or we can bundle that in as well.

Our base maps are a combination of dyno and road tune - mainly road tune. The base map for our 2.5i Subaru kits was created by driving down to California from Washington, over to Nevada, and then up to Utah. Covered all the possible conditions, such as 91 octane only in the desert while climbing to 6000 feet.

Yes, it needs to keep at least one cat in the system for emissions reasons.

I really like the placement decision for the turbo on this kit.

Does this retain the stock undercarriage metallic cover if not any plans to craft one with ducts to air cool as well?

Would the kit price include ecu flash?

It includes the flash, but you have to get the ECUTek license and cable or at least loan a cable to do the flash.

As someone who's saving up for an automatic daily driver, Ive noticed on the other threads (especially for exhausts) that piping for automatics will need to be slightly different as the transmission is wider. So, will y'all be testing this kit on an automatic as well to make sure there aren't any problems before releasing?

Also, will the automatic be able to handle the 80-100+ hp of this kit?

Other than that, LOVING the discreetness of this kit and the fact of using an UEL header D

I'm sure AVO will chime in but me being one of the only guys who has tuned a turbo automatic I can say it'll be just fine.

And YES the UEL is awesome on this car

The first time I did a pull on the dyno it gave me chills throughout my entire body with a instant grin from ear to ear.

Everyone says EL headers make more power - idc, my 640whp STi runs UEL because Racecar.

In my opinion, the supposed loss of power is WORTH IT! Plus it'll be a street car so the extra few hp doesn't really mean anything, but sounding bad-ass does ;D

I will sacrifice 10hp ANY day if I can get the REAL boxer sound!

this car sounds like any other 4 banger with EL headers!

I am really glad to see all of these forced induction options under development. SEMA is going to be a lot of fun this year but between doing everything I need to do for the company I work for and hunting down FR-S/BRZ goodies I am going to be worn out by the end of the week. That is pretty much normal for the SEMA Show though.
