Thanks. Would someone help me understand what to listen for to identify drone? I read that it sounds like the sound you make by saying ah into a house fan.

Do you think the resonator option would solve that issue for some of us? Or should I replace the muffler as well I was about to make my order now

Mo, do you need a 6MT to test the larger resonator? I have no problem heading up there ASAP if need be. You can even hear how much drone it has.

Its a booming noise at certain rpms that make you feel like your head is about to explode.

That will give me time to determine if I can live with it.

I will say again that the overall sound is amazing. I was just outside showing it off to a coworker and had him start up the car and rev it. I don't believe the sound from outside the car can get any better. Literally music to my ears!
Sure we can do that once you come by the shop. Thanks for the compliments. The sound from outside is really awesome.

Would there be a new timeline estimate for those who are switching over to a larger resonator?
NP you are welcome. The larger resonator would add about 1 week. That is how long it would take us to get them in.

Do you have an estimate on how long test fitment will take for the 6MT version? My exhaust hasn't shipped yet but I may just want it as-is depending on the delay.
About 1 week.

The resonator will fix it 100% I can guarantee. Do NOT order anything yet, let us first test the larger resonator, that way it will save you a lot of headaches is trying to get the correct combinations, NOT only that that rear section is a real PITA to get made and aligned 100% perfect.

I already have a manual trans car here I need the Auto, lol. Let me test fit it in our car and then you can make the trip and we can switch it out for you.

Very nice to see a company that is taking customer satisfaction this importantly. I'm a lot more confident that I'll end up happy with this transaction after seeing how quickly they jumped on the issue.

I will be first in line for the larger resonator if it quiets this exhaust down. I love everything about the exhaust and the customer service but the drone is killing me.

What I meant by my previous post was will you guys ship out resonators or should we go ahead and purchase some ourselves. If the resonator is the issue I have no problem just grabbing a really good one and having a local muffler shop weld it on.

Question!

Can the band clamps be reused?

I'm thinking about adjusting my tips out some in hopes that more of the sound will escape out of the back of the car instead of under the car. I currently have them pushed all the way in for a low-key look.
I also need to reposition the middle clamp because I clamped it down in the way of the driveshaft bracket. Makes it hard to get to that bolt, which is needed to lower the driveshaft when installing a shifter bushing.
