Thanks for the interest guys, sorry I've been out of the office for a few days. I had a bit of an accident, Bike v. Telephonepole. One thing I failed to mention in the original post is that this on a "First come, First serve " basis.

Dropped off my ride at Ground Control yesterday and had the pleasure meeting the owner J, and he showed me around the place where they build all the coils by hand and test them out on site. will take pics when i go pick up my ride but the place is impressive and i know the product will turn out great...

I saw Mike's thread but thought posting here was more appropriate.
A couple of questions please. 1. You mentioned on Mike's thread that you're using your GC setup on the Konis. Do you have the option for the stock damper available? 2. If so, what spring rates are available? I'd like something between 4.5-5k. 3. We had a set of GCs on our old E30 on it's stock shock. They tended to clank quite loud on various types of bumps. It was confirmed for proper installation. They just made noise. Have these noise issues been resolved for the BRZ/FRS kit? I think the stock damper is quite good so I'd prefer to keep them if possible. |

1. Our c/o kit on Mike's car is a basic kit, not our Complete system w/Koni's. So yes, this is for stock dampers. 2. The rates you've chosen are to soft for this car. 3. I'm sorry your E30 made noise, did you contact anyone here at GC in regards to the said noise to help resolve this. On GC kits/systems, there should be no noise when assembled correctly, there are no moving parts and hundreds of pounds sitting on the assemblies. We have our product on 2 different FT86 forum senior members cars, and they both love their setup and how it rides on the street. Neither of these cars make any noise in regards to the GC suspension. |
