Damn.. I can tell ima love this site.. I just want to stop my horn from honking when unlocking the doors.. At 4 am when I head to work my neighbors hate the double honk

Got the new ECU installed in a San Francisco dealer.....All the keys got re-programmed. Got the DRL turned off the right way....BUT...I kinda miss the yellow bulbs that I put in.

I might have them turn in back on the next time I'm there.

I also had them do an oil change for me.......I read somewhere on this forum that ppl are paying $20-$25 for the filter.....I only paid $10 in San Francisco.

I changed just my filter at 1,000 miles. The Subaru dealer had it for 7.50 so the Scion dealer gave it to me for 6.19. Each day my experiences with Toyota validate my purchase.

I have a buddy who works at Toyota of GR (where I bought it) so next time i'm in there I'll have him hook up the computer... if nothing else to change the volume on some of the stuff which from the OM looks like is possible

My ECU finally comes in ... they keep my car for 2 days then return it telling me they had to put then old ECU back in cause the new one does nothing... they cant get it to register the keys. any advice i could tell them as they dont know how to use google?

You should be able to take it in to any dealer, for me i emailed the fleet manager that sold me the car and attached the tsb pdf. He set up an appt for me and it was pretty painless. Apparently i already had the ECU and they just needed to program it. Took about 40 minutes and i was out of there.
