Yeah, I said it even though you're probably sarcastic.

sounds like you mad, you mad?
that is just downright retarded. if the op wants to "support" subaru, he should have bought a subaru.

i just think its a bit ridiculous to think that people care more about branding than the actual brands in question. saying subaru on it doesnt make it any more or less a subaru. we dont know how much happened and it doesnt matter but toyota would be closer to being the parent company. when you hire an architect or firm, you say that is who built your house. nobody makes the argument that its the contractors project and i dont know why a car is different
im not saying you are this way but its crazy to hear these people have these opinions about things like and then have brand loyalty for things like coilovers that are entirely outsourced.

I understand your argument but you're saying that Subaru had absolutely NO say in the design of the car, they've had plenty considering they made the darn block used to run it.
There was an article that claimed that Toyota went to Subaru for a Front mounted RWD 2.0L and Subaru went on and made the block without any say from Toyota and presented it. - yes its an article, may be true, may be wrong.
Lots of articles going back and forth about it - some claim it was all Suby, some claim it was all Toyota - who cares, it was a joint project.

Also a good number of people don't care about Scion/Toyota branding and would prefer Subaru - so why not - let them stick whatever sticker they want on their car.
Some people just like having the name on their stuff as well, let them be man.
Some want consistency - Everything else says Subaru, so lets make it flush and make it Subaru - sure its expensive but whatever let them do their own thing.

just because i dont agree with you doesnt mean i believe the exact opposite. i never said that subaru had nothing to do with it. my point is that if you want a subaru, buy a brz. if you want the scion, buy the frs. people buying the frs who prefer subaru are probably stupid. as far as consistency goes, the car isnt void of toyota markings too. people can do what they want. i just dont think it makes any sense

You're completely neglecting the price, the color scheme, the bumper design being more attractive to the person buying the FR-S but likes the Subaru badge/company

Who cares? It was made by both companies and is supposed to be enjoyed by enthusiasts from both worlds. No need to create rifts over a $15 badge.

Seems like none of you guys like your cars for itself, If you buy a car because of its brand/name you have either a lot of money or you are completely out right stupid.. Or both.
This car is for enthusiasts , enthusiasts should not give two shits about what emblems are on the car. Scion/Subaru/Toyota.. Who gives a shit ?
K I'm gonna go for a drive now, y'all should too

2 completely different cars.
FRS and BRZ are pretty much the same things w/ different color schemes, prices, bumper, slightly dif. suspension

People care about the badge because they want the look that they like to go with their enjoyment of the drive.

I don't want any logo's on the car. I don't need to advertise for the company or give credit. They have a whole big marketing department for that. Sadly there is a groove in the hood and bumper for their damn badge and one embedded into the wheel. All others are coming off.

I have to agree with you on this one, I'm waiting for a more aggressive looking bumper that makes the front groove do something else so it doesn't look like there should be a badge there.
