That's one to think about!!. Let's see, if I'm the insurance company I only keep the premiums on policies that I've paid out claims on and if I haven't paid any claims on a policy I refund the premium??? Really makes a guy wonder how they make a profit and if they'll even be in business if and when you need them.

As to the original question. Perhaps I've been unusually lucky but I have never purchased an extended warranty on any vehicle or product I've purchased and have yet to regret it. To me they're snake oil.
