Stock Rear View Camera for Fujitsu Ten?

haven't gotten a chance to check this yet, but it seems like it may be helpful to some of you guys.


Ive had SVXdc's pins sitting in my glove box for a couple months now as I have not gotten around to trying it. Hopefully you guys can figure it out and make it easier for everyone else.

Yep - does anyone know of a part with the 16-pin adapter that our head unit uses?

SVXdc, do you sell them? Would love to purchase one off of you if so.

I ordered that $17 license plate CMOS camera since it was so cheap and gives a nice mounting solution (available on Amazon prime for $14 and change.) If I don't find a proper adapter by this weekend, I'm just gonna go Frankenstein on the stock wiring and hope for the best.

I went with this camera kit. The camera measures 25X22X25mm. There is a flat area under the rear trunk logo that is 35X75mm. Should be a pefect fit and located dead center. For 12.35, WTH!

I got mine working. Pins match from the diagram in my previous post. Right now I'm working on power and putting everything back together. I will post pics when I get home tonight.

Talking with Mr. SVXdc the pins used aren't the same, they work, kind of.

For me, next is pull the head unit try removing the pin for the brake input. Then match it up to our Subaru terminal kit or possibly radio shack. I want this to be a plug and play, with pins that snap in, not forced.

Sparks - that area for me has the trunk release button. Do you have a Premium? This is why I was leaning towards the license plate camera as the Limited is using that space for the trunk release. I thought both models had that.

Yea I have the preimum, I forgot the Limited has the button

SVXdc has found a source for the pins and an inexpesive kit will be released soon. Still a little testing to do with the head unit and when the camera turns on.

I need to iron out a few install details, do a little testing to make sure it works correctly, take pictures, then write a detailed DIY.

Thanks for your work! Will the kit work with limiteds as well? Any rough guesses on price/eta?

The wiring is the same for both cars.

SVXdc can answer the "Kit" questions.
