I did my original loan through state farm bank.. Was 2.39% for 60 with free gap insurance.

I just filled out an online app for PenFed to refinance to their current rate of 1.49%. Will save me $30 a month. I was worried that I would have a problem with valuation of the collateral. I borrrowed almost $27,000 for my original loan and have only made a couple payments. My payoff is $25,700. My fear was that they would value the vehicle as used and only say it's worth like $23k or something. Turns out they value the car at $25,495. So I only have to send $200 of my own money to payoff the statefarm loan. Love the high resale on the BRZ so far!!!

So it looks like mid to high 1% area...... Cause alot of online stuff was saying 2.9% which I thought was a bit high. I wonder if anyone can get at 0.9% even with fantastic credit lol

It's 2.9% through Subaru. The dealer can go through a bank and get better rates.

Yeah i guess this dealership goes through Chase, but I essentially came in with 1.99 from the local credit union and Subaru said they can beat it so I went with them instead.

Go to your dealer and ask them to beat/match penfed. They will work with Chase to get you the rate. Worked for me, and I wasn't even approved by penfed because of my lack of credit history.

Sorry I don't feel so bad now, after my divorce and a personal BK I was lucky to get 8.9%, I was thinking of paying it off before I did any major modifications though.
