Is the wider box supposed to have just the one piece in it? Just want to make sure I have everything.

Well this thread made it easy for me to decide between SRT & nameless. I was going back and forth over and over having a hard time making a decision. Not Anymore!

I don't have my tracking number either, but I did receive a PM this morning to confirm a change in shipping address and what transmission I have. Since I saw people posting about a signature required I am having it shipped to my dealership where i work so I can get it right away and have no chance of missing the UPS guy/gal.
As much as I want to have it my hands immediately, I'm being patient because I'm going to try and meet up with Visconti at Nightshift Performance in Edison, NJ and get my car dyno'd before and after and we all know how busy that man is. I think the worst wait is going to be once I have the exhaust, and getting everything scheduled to get it dyno'd and installed. *WARNING* I'm about to state my opinion & I know nobody asked for it. ![]() I waited years for this car to be released. A few months for an exhaust is nothing. For a relatively smaller shop, Mo, I'm sure is doing the best he could. With limited staff at hand, the more phone calls, PM's email etc that he receives, the more it stops him from working on products, shipping, etc. They already made a mistake by rushing the product to market and are making the necessary adjustments to those products. It's how those mistakes are handled is what's important. People and companies make mistakes, it's inevitable. Learning from those mistakes and improving on products/processes is how people/companies grow. You learn much more from failures than you do successes. Does it get frustrating waiting? Of course it does. People LOVE instant gratification and it's even more apparent when we spend a large sum of money. Good things come to those who wait..... /Opinion :happy0180: If I am as happy with this exhaust as I think I am going to be, I will gladly give SRT my money for futures products they release for this platform. Just getting impatient thats all. I just wanna play lol. to be honest I was really concerned about the wait for the exhaust until I saw everyone posting about how they have theres just makes me want it more. it will all be worth it in the end, P.S. SRT exhaust its pretty bang for the dollar as well considering its a HB, I looked at all the other CB's this morning and you would need to purchase the over pipe and straight(or high flow cat) additionally. |

I originally thought I was sold on the Perrin exhaust and then SRT made their post. I liked the looks of it and then when I watched the videos of the different pulls, it was the WOT part of the video on the street that I was all ![]() ![]() ![]() The only thing that bothered me was that it was a Hot Lava 6spd with PA plates and it wasn't mine. ![]() Ruskymx |

Alright, so I've gotten almost everything off and I only have the crosspipe to go. I have one of the bolts connecting it to the manifold off and got about half way through on the other and now it will not budge (and the nut is starting to strip). Anyone have any advice?

Heat it up, if u don't have fire you could try a heat gun for a long time. Dealer had to replace my over pipe when they took my tranny off cause they stripped the thread. You might be SOL

Sounds like the bolt was scored. There should be enough room to fit in a thread cutter and true up the threads. DON'T force the nut off and ruin the header.
