Im getting my tints applied at autolinks. Do they apply the back window tints on the outside or inside?

Inside, i was nervous when the guy got in the back, but they did. A great job, no bubbles or streaks

So to be on the safe side, you guys think that 30% would be safe? I just don't want any hassle from those cops at night.

Got mine done yesterday at AutoLinks.

They take your brake light off and apply a single full sheet on the back on the inside.

I have 15% and I've driven beside cops 2 times with them looking over at me
mind you it was during the day.. at night i've passed a few cops on smaller streets and no one has given me trouble

I talked to you yesterday. I had the white BRZ. Did you end up getting 15%?

Yea I ended up getting 15% all around. I think it may be too dark, I had some trouble seeing my side mirrors at night.

Welcome to the world of tint lol. I had 15% before as well and I agree, it makes it a lot more difficult to see at night. I have a tinted lens for my motorcycle helmet and I almost cannot wear it at night because my visibility is dangerously low.

This is the reality with tint, cooler temps in the day and pimp status, but reduced visibility at night. Can you imagine getting 30 or 35%...?

I ended up with 15%.happy with it so far. Dark at night but i like it. Havent had any issues yet, knock on wood.
