Lol, well apparently they don't know anything about drift setups. A proper drift car always runs more negative camber in the front than the rear.

Guess I wasn't aware you needed third to hit 60, I thought you could hit it in 2nd. That would certainly explain the improvement.

high rev just makes it easier, 2nd gear goes to 59.5 which can be rounded up to 60 if you want, but a whole second is better none the less

Thats what i really need...I tried 1/4 mile run today and the road isnt long enough for the run and i didnt want to try on the street...also tried to launch higher but i kept getting 6.8-6.9 and a 10.2 for the 1/8...i guess for me and the pavement im on 4200rpm launch is best. Tried again with a 4200rpm launch and got 5.7 with a 9.3 1/8mile.

I have asked John a few times, 91 octane will run fine on the 93 tune he said

Hope to receive my cable and my tune before winter storage.

Here we have 94 with 10% ethanol from petro-canada but my choice is shell 91 vpower ethanol free no chirps since day one and good power .

So im wondering if i can use shell fuel on the 93 tune safely.. anyway ill ask John later hes a busy man ! for sure !

Again thank you John and Ecutek for your hard work. The new package with the cable is sooo nice and the price... a steal. I put my engine in your hand with confidence

Pump up the rear tire pressure far enough and almost any RWD will start drifting the back end around corners. Or spinning.

so is another 400rpm overkill to get to 60 mph even? Would 200 more do it?

noo i think 400 is perfect because at least you would have to shift perfect all the time and at least i have a little room for error if i go a little past and i dont bounce off the limiter. Im not greatest shifter but i've been practicing lol hence the 5.6-5.9 time lol

On a track with sticky vht, you will find that you will need to lower tire pressures, and raise the launch RPM much higher. We had to launch off the limiter and feather the clutch because there was zero tire slip at the track. a 7800 launch rpm would of been able to net us 1.9 60's at the track quite easily.

We were getting 9.5 1/8's full weight stock trim (1/4 tank fuel), and 9.4 1/8's with 70 lbs of weight reduction with american sized 200+lb drivers

Nice! I really want to hit the track and see what numbers i put down.. im sure with a sticky vht track and higher launch i would hit better numbers. Only thing is im not that great and im still practicing lol.

I have had my buddy stop watch 0-60 times in my car with him in the passanger seat. the best time he recorded was 6.17 secs. Stock car and a 180 pound driver and a 190 pound passanger.

Not the most accurate way of doing this but I would think it is pretty accurate.

Just some food for thought.
