I've been harassing them on a near weekly basis, and my sales rep only ever returned one voicemail. I ended up just emailing the brand manager (Nick Heffner) and complaining a bit, and we've went back and forth via email a couple times in the last week. Apparently they don't even have a VIN yet since they haven't had an allocation for my order yet, but they are expecting it "within the next few weeks".

Frustrating, but I'm fairly confident that I'm not the only person in this situation.

That was my wife and I. It's a very dirty Asphalt.

Just about ready for my first fill up. Where does everyone fill up at? I have heard good things about Shell and their V-Power gas (although technically only 91 octane).

I think the one on old King by Sportsworld does that as well. Good to save some $$ on the price of premium (although I accepted the premium only fact when I bought the car (still nice to have a break)).

How does the engine sound with Petro (I have heard mixed reviews)?

I too am interested: V-Power only? Which brands have we heard crickets/no crickets on?

From what I've seen there's been some conflicting evidence with respect to these types of questions.

Unfortunately, Kitchener Costco doesn't sell gas out here - propane only.

I'm on my second tank of Shell 91 (from Ultra 94) and I haven't noticed the crickets as much as my first tank. The first tank definitely reduced the percentage of the crickets from 90% of the time to maybe 20% but that's just a guess as I honestly haven't paid attention to it as it never really bothered me in the first place. I guess you could say I switched to the Shell 91 as an experiment to see if it really does quiet the crickets, and it does for the most part in my case. YMMV.

Perhaps we could create a thread for South-Western Ontario drivers specifically aimed at attaining some good solid feedback with respect to gasoline and what they've noticed with different brands?

I realize the crickets probably aren't damaging by any means but it would be nice to know how to reduce or eliminate them if one wanted to.

Done, just started one on the Canada regional forum. Good idea.
