There are several examples of coupes that had useable rear seats. RX8 is a perfect example as well as others already mentioned.

That's so true!!! I only used em to keep my text books. Now out of school, I'm using to keep my soccer gears

It's often misleading to judge by photos of pre-release versions, but this doesn't look like an improvement over the original. The photos look awkward and unattractive, but I'll reserve judgement until I can see it in the flesh.
