In the GC size class(Mid size coupes) I feel its the best 2+2 RWD coupe over the Stang/Camaro/G37 etc. The FRS/BRZ is more like a Miata with fake rear seats and a hardtop IMO so its really different.

The thing you have to "get" is the fact that this car is for people who are only interested in the pleasure of motoring. It is not about being better, or some kind of immature highway pissing contest. It is about having something that just makes you smile, and everybody else can think whatever they want.

Right. It's something that is not quantifiable. You could have all the data analysts in the world and they'd run tests on every parameter between the FRS/BRZ and genesis coupe and would ultimately have to say the genesis coupe is better. When you stop being a robot and think about real world emotions from real people...the competition ceases to exist

Well said sir. Well said. While there is a certain sense of adrenaline and pushing the car to its limits and beating someone, more pleasure is definitely derived from the car doing exactly as you thought. I am not sure how else to put it other than calling it the "tossability" factor.

I had a 2012 GC 2.0T R-Spec.

They are completely different cars. Camparos between them are retarded.

I've talked to a few people, some people love it, some are whatever about it, and some absolutely hate it. Of course there's going to be plenty of people that'll hate every car. Whether its japanese, american, or european. Everyone hates everyone's car lol. I think its more of the narrow minded your car isn't better than my car idea that gets everyone all butthurt.
Jalopnik facebook comments are a prime example. When they ran a story about a scion frs that got wrecked you couldn't believe how many people were just saying "that's a car for -------, jap junk, silly ricers, i drive a xxx with xxxhp!!!, scion is for retards etc... For some reason it was as if they saw that in some subliminal message they read "THIS CAR IS BETTER THAN YOUR PIECE OF CRAP"
I don't get why people need to talk crap about other cars, its like it's gonna make their car gain a magical 80hp lol. I'm not gonna lie i used to be a bit narrow minded, but then i realized it was stupid and pointless.

I love both the Scion and Subaru and i'm glad that they are getting the positive reviews that they're getting.
