I don't miss the driving low at all. Now that I have a lifted truck, I'll actually speed up and try to jump the dips and speed bumps!

Look at the cars! lol. Its soo hella flush that its inside of the fenders. Lol HOW U TURN BROHIEM?!

That's why the fenders are so ginormous. So you can turn the wheels while tuckin' the rims. lol

Yep very well could be replicas/same mold. I just always think of the Rays as being white or bronze in color.

What is the opinion of rocking replica rims? Is that bordering ricer level?

Not a fan. I looked up those and compared to the Rays/Volk they are 5 lbs heavier per wheel at 18" x 10.5 That's a lot of rotational/unsprung weight.

If you put on the stock caps, meh... your choice.

If you put on Volk caps, you can die and burn in hell. Just my opinion.

Didn't realize it was that much weight difference between the two. I was expecting more like 2-3 pounds. But TE37s are $$$$. Not sure the cost would offset the performance for me. We shall see.

Yeah for sure. I wouldn't try to pass them off as something they aren't. Kinda prefer their stealth look for a daily driver and not have to worry about a set of real Volks on a car I would driver every day.

for a component as important as the wheel of a car you really don't want to get no name knock offs. if you wanna save money that bad you might as well keep the stock rims.

I don't have a problem personally rocking a set of wheels like those. I'm not same name brand whore that needs to show off how much I spent on my wheels. I just want a set that looks nice to me (clean lines, simple, not too flashy, matches well with car). Why pay more for something that looks the same (probably same mold, just different material/process) as something that you could get cheaper? Now if they had shotty build and were a safety danger, then no saving money wouldn't be worth it. After reading some reviews by the 350z guys, they get a solid rep.

Volk used to offer special colors for the TE's and their black wasn't as flat as those replicas and had a red stripe near the lip and red Volk stickers.

The problem with knock offs is that you can clearly see that they look different but these come pretty damn close.

But as Dimman mentioned, they are heavier.
