In all, there's not that much profiteering going on around this car.
When they launched the 350z, people were giving a $500 to order their cars at the dealers. These people were selling their spots on the waiting lists. The relatively standard price they were selling for was $5000, and I'm sure some sold for more if the order was for a harder to find spec. -Justin

This is funny. I've talked to several dealers that have said there's not profit on the FR-S, so they have to do add-ons to make money. Of course this is total BS. None the less mark ups are the price you pay for a hot car after it has just been launched and you're one of the early adapters.

You think that's bad? Here's one in my city. I test drove it and they tried to sell it to me. As you can see it is used with 390 miles on it.....http://www.keyesscion.com/vehicle/20...es-715961.html

Norwalk CA? You mean the Cerritos Auto Center? I test drove an aquamarine FRS a couple of weeks ago there. They had a red one in the showroom with the Five Axis body kit for 30K. Such ludicrousness.....By the time I get one next November, they had better not be pulling this crap still.....
