It's sad that this makes me think "I can't wait for cheap chinese knockoffs"....but then I would somehow need to convince myself to put cheap chinese tail lamps on my car. Looks like I'm going to have stock tails for a lot longer than I had hoped for. Why can't I just have something that looks less "bling" and more subtle/stock like japanese cars of yesteryear?

Spyder Auto is making tails and they will have them available around SEMA, at least that was the case when I spoke to them last...
