I have some angled spacers about 1/2-1" deep from a 2005 WRX that might work, but it sounds like they may need to be re-drilled to fit the BRZ's mounting pattern. If they're a bust, I'd love to help the beta fit testing or purchase a pair if I do in fact need them, I just don't have the car yet.

you will be fine, mine are 3 3/8. just get his spacers pick up some nuts and bolts for 4$ at autozone and you will a very nice clean install.

Have any redesigned spacers yet? I'd like to try out a set once you do.

Sorry for the slow reply, guys- I was on vacation and don't like to advertise that fact on the internet while I am gone.

I am ready to make them. I had to go with a different material manufacturer, but I had used it in the past when I was making spacers for my SpecV forum. After I sold the SpecV I got into Subarus and went with a smaller material. This stuff is wider (and thus costs a little more) but the widened spacers will fit on this material.

You can be the first customer with the wider spacers. I don't want to just bust out a set without a particular speaker in mind, so email me at patrickhenry@gmail.com with the speaker info and I can get you rolling. I have to go to the shop tomorrow for some other spacers, so I could even cut them tomorrow.

Price will be $30 shipped for the first couple sets, just until I get some pictures back and a new/updated review. After that they will be $33 shipped in the US.

I can handle those. The older spacers that you have won't work- they are just too small to line up with the BRZ/FRS mounting points.

If you want in on the Version 2 spacers, let me know. The info to contact me is in the post above.

I currenlty have the kappa 6.1 speaker system with 6.5" woofer and 1" tweeter which I bought a while ago. I will have the new 2din hu w/ external amp units soon. I need recommend how I can install this to the front setup using those spacer? Can the 6.5" mount to the existing door speaker and the tweeter go to front dash? I will find another 4" kappa to replace the stock dash.
Here is specs & size depth:

Your mid will fit in the doors with these adapters. Your tweeter MIGHT fit in the OEM location, but you might have to lose the OEM 3.5" dash speaker and replace it with the smaller panel that I offer. It is not designed to serve as an adapter for 3.5" speakers, but instead to serve as a mounting platform for a component tweeter in the event that the tweeter does not fit in the stock location.

Let me know if I can be of help.
