looks to proper and clean to be a Subie. Subaru need to look harsh and unsettled O_o unless they want to change their styling to reflect more their toyota counterpart. And even thought they said no AWD already I wouldn't mind a AWD version by Subaru.

Also, the hood scoop would only be there for a TMIC. Guess the writers are really pulling for a FI model.

My estimation
WRX/GT 3~4 months after base model
STI 6~8 months after base model

Thanks This gives alot of good information.... Do you think it's a good idea that they are sepperating the WRX from the Impreza? what does everyone think? Where would our Subaru 86 sit in their line up?

This is interesting, we've been speculating a bit on this already:

Quote:
Speaking to CarAdvice in New York, Subaru’s Impreza Product General Manager, Mr Akihide Takeuchi, said work on the replacement turbocharged engine has commenced but would not give any further details. He did confirm that it will not be based on the EJ25 and will not simply be a turbocharged version of the new boxer engine.

No clue what that is, but its not the 216a...hell, it has 4 doors.

Subaru's version of the FT-86 hasn't been physically revealed anywhere yet.
