And another rendering... April 5th, 2011

And probably my favorite yet. I dig the subtleness as opposed to the Toyota's crazy facias, and sharp pointy lines.

good find but it looks too much like the first concept.

you say that like it could in any way be a bad thing :bonk: closer to the first concept is best case scenario.

Why are these clowns still claiming it will be awd?

Zorro 04-06-2011 11:46 AM

Where? I see RWD.

That's really strange because if you watch the video on the same site, dated march 2nd, about the FT-86II and the subaru concept from Geneva it says the complete opposite. They talk about how both cars will be RWD and that due to the engine placement/drivetrain/and suspension setup AWD would be impossible without a complete redesign. This article about the Subaru version is from April 5th and somehow slipped out with the faulty info on the AWD.

They also throw out the random 180hp and 2800lbs guess. Look for that to be repeated numerous times in the next few months.

I like this version better since it some of the MKI lines. They need to get with the program as far as it being AWD too! :bellyroll:

Jordo! 04-07-2011 04:25 AM

I like it.

Needs a "park bench" spoiler.
