I'm pretty happy with them for stockers. Get a wheel brush and they are easy and quick to clean.

I think they look best when they're sand-blasted! I swear, for some reason it just looks better!

I've warmed up to them considerably. They look way better in person than in pictures. I still plan on replacing them but I'll definitely keep 'em around for a spare set. They look good in bare aluminum, MiguelAE86!

20lbs.

My biggest gripe with them is that they are not flush in the rear :p I mean they sit inwards by about an inch and it looks tacky up close to me.

I think the wheels look great!

It's the tires they failed at....a tired tuned for low rolling resistance on a performance car...and cost ~$210 each!?

now THAT is failure.

i assume with all the ghetto cheap wheels out there, they assume people will ditch the stock wheels anyways so why waste time on em' or get some nicer name brand wheels.

majority of ft86/brz buyers buy the car to mod.

what i dont understand is why they didnt go with a 5x114.3PCD instead of the gay 5x100

I like how this thread title assumes that there are any big car companies that make GOOD stock wheels. I think some are 'ok', but if you really want good, you go upmarket on the car or aftermarket for the wheel.

I'd also remind everyone of the stock GR STI wheel, which weighed 28lbs for an 18" wheel. At least these are a semi decent weight!

I think they look better in all silver. The dark spokes, to me, lose definition. Of course everyone has a different preference and that's good. The important thing is they are quality construction and not too heavy.

In a perfect world I would have a set of 16" stock wheels, and a set of 17" Five Axis S7:F (not available). Fortunately, @five86 and @ekset took forum feedback and are working on making the S7:F in 18" which is the next best thing. To me, this wheel capture the essence of the concepts more than anything else. It makes the package complete.
